Special Events Planned for 2012
Colorado National Monument
(Saddlehorn Parking Lot)
All sessions begin at sundown and last for two hours (see map). Members are asked to show up 30 minutes early. The public is invited to attend. We’ll have a variety of telescopes ready to peruse the night sky. Training sessions for members begin after our public demonstrations and viewing.
Visitors please park on the left in the lot (the scopes will be setup in the central area). All sessions presume acceptable weather conditions. The dates for 2012 will be:
Apr. 21, May 19, June 23, July 28, Aug. 18, Sept. 15 & Oct. 13

Highline State Park
The following sessions are planned at Highline for campers and the general public who wants to come out for the evening and enjoy the night sky as well (see map). Our 2012 dates there will be:
May 26 (Memorial Day Weekend)
Sept. 1 (Labor Day Weekend)
